About

Share houses, without the Facebook chaos

Finding a room shouldn’t mean thirty “dm me pls” comments, no replies and your phone number on show. Kipmates brings rooms, hosts and housemates together in one place built for it.

Perth and surrounds, Western Australia

About

Our mission

Make finding a room, or the right housemate, simple and safe. Clear listings with the details that matter, profiles you can trust, and conversations that actually get answered.

The problem

Why we built it

Today most rooms are shared in Facebook groups, and it’s hard to tell whether a room even exists. We built Kipmates to replace that with something calmer and more reliable.

  • Posts get buried
  • Messages go unanswered
  • Names and numbers are exposed
“I’ve messaged quite a few adverts but no one replies.”

Who it’s for

We started with FIFO and DIDO workers: away on roster half the time, home between swings. Hosts like them because the house stays quiet. But Kipmates is open to everyone looking for a room or a housemate.

Where we’re heading

We’re launching in and around Perth first, then growing with the people who use Kipmates. Better verification, better search by move-in date and roster, and more ways to find a good fit.

About

What we stand for

  • Clarity

Weekly rent, bills, bond, minimum stay and move-in date, shown upfront on every listing.

  • Safety

Verified profiles, approximate locations and no personal numbers on show. Everything stays in Kipmates messaging.

  • Respect

Hosts reply for free and reply rates are visible. Everyone deserves an answer.

  • Honesty

No fake reviews, no invented numbers. We only show what’s real.
